Corporate and wayfinding signage programs

Kohn Pedersen Fox Architects were faced with a challenge of restoration of the 80,000sf lobby of an aging icon of modern architecture. Comprehensive corporate and wayfinding programs were part of the effort. KPF chose Red Square Design to undertake the project.

For three years we worked closely with the architects and their client studying traffic flow patterns, security issues and making sure that the future signage program was ADA compliant. Once the design was approved we advised on the selection of fabricators and supervised all phases of the fabrication and installation process, from checking quality and color of the bronze to helping the fabricator resolve structural details, insuring the job was done well, on time and on budget. it’s estimated that approximately 500,000 people including tenants, commuters and visitors pass through the building’s lobby.
